Trivial Pursuit: America Plays, the fast- paced game show hosted by pop culture icon Christopher Knight, puts viewers on the front lines in each and every episode. Based on the very popular Hasbro board game, this half-hour strip is the only show on television that features exclusively user generated content, giving viewers the opportunity to both play and win from the comfort of their own living room! America submits all the questions for this innovative half-hour format via the show’s website, www.tpamericaplays.com.  America's “Team Captain,” a person chosen at random to represent the viewer at home, joins via satellite to cheer on those who submitted questions and acts as a virtual competitor to those in-studio.  For every question the in-studio constants answer correctly, the winnings go into the “Studio Bank,” but if the contestants are stumped, “America's Bank” gets the cash!  In the first round, three in-studio contestants compete against each other by answering trivia questions from people all over the country in categories ranging from entertainment to arts and literature to history and politics. The first person in-studio to answer three questions correctly receiving three token wedges, moves on to the second round. In the second round, two contestants go head-to- head answering "Hot Pursuit" questions worth $500 each until all six wedges in the token are filled. In the final round, the last contestant standing must answer questions worth $500 to $5000 in six categories. At the end of the third round, if “America's Bank” has more than the “Studio Bank,” then all the viewers who submitted the questions that day take home the spoils.
