Reported by: KARK 4 News Friday, Jul 31, 2009 @11:00am CDT A Little Rock construction company is making history with its newly-built corporate headquarters (see drawings below).
Baldwin & Shell has just finished the only construction company headquarters in the state that's certified as a "Green Building". The 23,000 square feet facility is located at Capitol and Chester in the downtown area. "We wanted to remain in downtown Little Rock to continue our support of the city's growth," said Bob Shell, President and CEO of the 63-year-old company. The company says the headquarters is built to exacting standards using the LEED rating system and will receive a LEED Silver Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. The new facility is more than twice the size of Baldwin & Shell's previous location. ![]() |
