The sixth movie of the series was 153 minutes of action, humor, romance, and drama.
Great acting from all cast members especially the performances from Alan Rickman and Helena Bonham Carter. There are plot twists and turns that leave you wanting more. Harry, Hermione, and Ron return to Hogwarts with love on their mind. We also learn more about Lord Voldemort's dark past. I think the movie could have spent more time on this aspect of the plot. Half-Blood Prince is also very funny and Ron provides comic relief to break the tension and darkness that is found in certain scenes. We especially thought the part when Ron takes the love potion meant for Harry was absolutely hilarious. The visual effects are the star of the show bringing to life the storyline of J.K. Rowling's wonderful book. Half-Blood Prince was a great "escape" movie and we really enjoyed it. -
