  • Huckabee Campaign Manager Gives Questionable Christmas ...
Reported by: Lauren Trager, KARK 4 News

    Sunday, Dec 28, 2008 @06:00pm CST

Former campaign manager for Governor Huckabee's presidential run is facing serious criticism about his Christmas gift choices.

Chip Saltsman, now running for chair of the Republican National Committee sent a CD of parody songs--including one we're about to play for you---to a number of RNC members.

Now as a warning, some may find what you are about to hear, offensive.

"Barack the Magic Negro, lives by the sea. The L.A. TImes Man says he's not authentically black like me."

Current RNC Chair Mike Duncan says he's appalled by Saltsman's decision to distribute the song---first played in 2007 on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show.

So what does Mike Huckabee think?

KARK caught up with the former Governor today who says he has no comment--- and knows nothing of the CD. And as for supporting Saltsman's campaign for RNC chair--

"Really that's something that doesn't have anything to do with people who aren't on the Executive Committee," said Governor Huckabee.

The Governor spent the holidays in Arkansas, after promoting his new book.
