The Little Rock Zoo is ready to kick-off its annual two-week celebration of Halloween.

Goblins, ghosts, and ghouls alike will be a part of the 18th year for Boo at the Zoo.

The first week of fun starts tomorrow and runs through Sunday, October 25th.

The second week starts Thursday, October 29th and runs through Halloween.

This year there's also a special Dia de los Muertos celebration scheduled for the daytime on Sunday, November 1st, and on Halloween evening.

Boo at the Zoo is Arkansas’s largest Halloween festival featuring trick-or-treating in a safe environment, numerous carnival rides and concessions, a fun house hay maze, a costume contest, the haunted train ride, carousel ride, and Halloween decorations throughout the Zoo.

The daytime carnival during regular zoo hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. includes all carnival rides and concessions open to the public. All day long at Boo, guests can buy a wristband for $15 each day and get unlimited carnival rides, day and night.  Tickets to ride carnival rides can also be bought individually.

New to Boo this year is Moo at the Zoo, sponsored by Coleman Dairy on both Saturday nights of the event October 24th and 31st. Coleman Dairy will give away pints of Orange Scream milk and chocolate milk for Boo guests, while supplies last, and will also give away free ice cream scoops at the Dia de los Muertos celebration.

The Dia de los Muertos celebration will feature live music, dancers, authentic food, and other activities, in honor of the Hispanic “Day of the Dead” holiday. 

Admission for the Boo at the Zoo nighttime event is $5 per person and $4 per person for Zoo members.

Admission to the Boo at the Zoo daytime carnival comes with regular paid Zoo admission of $10 for adults and $8 for children ages 1-12. Extra charges apply to ride carnival rides and to buy items from vendors.
