There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way. This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them."

It’s a Blast from the Past at 'Hot Tub Time Machine' After Party

    Thu, Mar 18, 12:41 PST

ET's Kevin Frazier went retro for the after party of the 'Hot Tub Time Machine' premiere. The latest Chevy Chase and John Cusack flick brings us back to the decade famous for leg warmers, side pony-tails, neon leggings, and mullets. Kevin dug deep into his college wardrobe for a warm-up suit and kangol to look straight out of 1986.

Just like in Vegas, some things that happened in the '80s are better left in the '80s. Collette Wolfe was a young child back then, but looking back on the fashion of the era, she observed: "I think shoulder pads are incredibly unflattering on women...Who wants to look like a football player?" "The Office"'s Kate Flannery is glad to have moved on from her "taste in men back then."

Plenty of good did come out of the years that Madonna topped the charts and Converse high tops walked the streets. "The '80s were when I met my wife and had three daughters, so a big time for me. I miss being that young again," said Chevy. "The best part of my life was in the '80s."

Kristen Stewart & Dakota Fanning on Getting Racy in 'The Runaways'

    Thu, Mar 18, 12:41 PST

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning play real-life rockers Joan Jett and Cherie Currie in 'The Runaways,' and the teen stars dished to ET about tackling some of the film's racier scenes while premiering their high-voltage flick in New York on Wednesday night.

At only the age of 16, Dakota is put in questionable situations for someone of her youth while portraying Cherie. "I think there’s been numerous, numerous films with kids who aren’t 18 that play older [characters]," Kristen asserted. "And, in this case, she’s playing her age and there’s nothing exploitative about the movie. It’s all very natural.”

Dakota herself felt comfortable in all that she was asked to do when the director called, "Action!," and understands it is part of her line of work. She said with maturity, "I’ve grown up in this business thinking it’s just acting; it’s just pretend and that’s kind of what it is for me. It’s just a story and you get to transform yourself and be all different kinds of people.”

Ellen DeGeneres Comforts Pamela Anderson's Sore Feet

    Thu, Mar 18, 12:41 PST

Ellen DeGeneres is known for boogying through her audience on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." She hangs up her dance sneakers on Thursday's episode to make way for "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Pamela Anderson.

He joins Pam on stage when Ellen gifts them with fuzzy slippers to comfort their aching dancing feet. Just one catch, Pam's slippers come in the form of stilettos. The host also gave the "Baywatch" babe an undergarment to protect her from inappropriate "wardrobe malfunctions" as she busts a move.

"It's always a little bit like a family reunion," she says of seeing fellow Brat Packers such as Ally Sheedy, Anthony Michael Hall and Judd Nelson at this year's special Oscar tribute to John Hughes. "We don't get to see each other very often because we all lead different lives and live in different places … so it's always nice to get to catch up."

On the touching tribute to her late 'Sixteen Candles,' 'The Breakfast Club' and 'Pretty in Pink' mentor, she says, "I was just so excited and honored to be there, and really touched that the Academy chose to recognize his contribution to filmmaking and incredible impact that he's had on the world through his films. … And to also have the Hughes family there, it's been a really difficult year for them, and to get that recognition I think was really important for them as well."

Inside the 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid'

    Thu, Mar 18, 12:41 PST

The popular children's book 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' makes its big-screen, live-action debut in theaters everywhere Friday, and ET goes behind the scenes!

Newcomer Zachary Gordon brings Greg Heffley's cartoon shoes to life; a wimpy middle-school kid who is just trying to make it through each day alive. Surrounded by morons, wedgies, swirlies, cafeteria politics and bullies, all he wants is to one day get the recognition and status he feels he so richly deserves. In the meantime, he keeps a detailed journal of his opinions, thoughts, family trials and tribulations, and would-be schoolyard triumphs.

"It's pretty challenging trying to get me into this mood of this character, and trying to read the books over and over again and get his exact words of what he says, what he does and how everything backfires on him," says Zach. "Greg never gets anything good. But whenever he does get good stuff, it always backfires on him."

With Lloyd Simcoe (Jack Davenport) missing, Simon Campos (Dominic Monaghan) tries to hack into his computer in hopes of stumbling upon clues. Janis Hawk (Christine Woods) teams with him, only to discover juicy secrets lurking in his background. When she goes into the kitchen to fetch Campos a beer, she’s approached by two masked men.

    Thu, Mar 18, 12:41 PST

One night after "American Idol"'s Top 12 sang Rolling Stones classics, Paige Miles, Tim Urban and Lacey Brown wound up in the season's first bottom three -- and one of them couldn't get no satisfaction.

"One of them is worth saving," Simon Cowell said, explaining that the judges can now save a lone eliminated contestant this season, but only with a unanimous vote.

Tim, who scored little sympathy from anyone following his reggae version of "Under My Thumb," was first to learn that he wouldn't be booted from "Idol" on Wednesday night.
