  • Sinus Node
The sinus node, or sinoatrial node, is the heart's natural pacemaker. Located in upper part of the right atrium, the sinus node initiates electrical conduction in the heart, stimulating the atria first. Responding to signals from the body's nervous system, the sinus node adjusts the heart's rate to meet the metabolic demands of the body.
