<description><![CDATA[ KARK 4 NEWS REVAMPS MORNING SHOW, ANNOUNCES NEWSCAST ANCHOR ASSIGNMENTS-Adds Veteran Investigative Reporter Dewayne Graham-LITTLE ROCK, Ark. &mdash; September 10, 2009 &mdash;With NBC launching it&rsquo;s new fall lineup starting with the prime time debut of The Jay Leno Show on September 14th, KARK 4 News is making major changes in the station&rsquo;s news department that will coincide with the launch. KARK 4 Today, the morning newscast, will have a new face on the anchor desk. Mallory Hardin, former KARK 4 reporter, will co-anchor the two-hour newscast with Matt Mosler, Chief Meteorologist Mike Francis and Tracy Douglass.&ldquo;Mallory has such genuine personality, she&rsquo;s upbeat, fun, and just a wonderful person to be around, which makes her a perfect fit for our morning newscast,&rdquo; said News Director Rob Heverling. &ldquo;One of the things that people can count on us (KARK 4 News) for is being very hyper-local, and Matt takes that to the next level with his community involvement.&rdquo;KARK is also the only station in the market to put its Chief Meteorologist on the morning newscast. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re putting Mike Francis, our Chief Meteorologist, on in the morning because getting an accurate forecast in the morning is so important to people as they start the day,&rdquo; Heverling said. &ldquo;Mike will also be on the air anytime severe weather is threatening.&rdquo; KARK 4 News has also made some other changes to its on-air talent lineup. KARK 4 News at 5:00 will now be anchored by Jancey Sheats and Melissa Simas with Bob Clausen contributing in-depth news pieces. KARK 4 News at 6:00 will be anchored by Bob Clausen and Jancey Sheats with Melissa Simas contributing to the show with in-depth stories. Meteorologist Brett Cummins returns to the station to do the weather forecasts during KARK 4 News at 5, 6, 7, and 10. KARK 4 News at 7:00 on KARZ (KARK&rsquo;s sister station) will be anchored by Sonseeahray Tonsall and Brett Cummins. The anchor team for KARK 4 News at 10:00 will be Bob Clausen and Melissa Simas.KARK 4 News has also added an investigative unit featuring veteran reporter Dewayne Graham.
