Last year's Defensive Player of the Year left during the first half for a shoulder exam and will not return.
Green Bay cornerback Sam Shields also left in the first half for a shoulder exam but was expected to return.
Wide receivers Donald Driver of the Packers and Emmanuel Sanders of the Steelers were also hurt during the first half.
Sanders, a third-down receiver for Pittsburgh, left the game with a foot injury and will not return.
Driver left with an ankle injury, limping into the tunnel in the second quarter, after his legs were caught up underneath his body as he was tackled by Pittsburgh linebackers James Farrior and James Harrison.
He went to the locker room for X-rays, which were negative.
Green Bay held a 21-10 lead at the half.
