Of course in this case we're talking about kick-ball.

Because the annual Big Red Ball Charity event for the youth home took place Saturday afternoon at Dickey-Stephens Ball Park.

There was a jalapeno eating contest, live music and of course a lot of chili and kick ball.

"This is our fifth year for this event," said Larry Betz the "Grand Poo-Bah of all things Kick Ball". "Last year we raised over $11,000 to youth home and we're hoping to surpass that this year."

The charity has raised as much as $300,000 for charities all over central Arkansas.

Remember the kick ball season stars March 4th.
