LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A straight party line vote pushed a bill requiring photo identification when you go to the polls through the Arkansas House on Wednesday.

Questions originally surrounded just how many votes at the capitol a voter ID bill needed, as questions about whether or not it changed the Arkansas constitution arose.

The bill would need more votes if it was determined that it changed the state constitution than it would if they determined it did not.

Even the controversial abortion bills picked up Democratic votes, but the voter ID bill did not, as it passed 51-44.

The voter ID bill will now go back to the Senate before possibly making its way to Governor Beebe's desk for signature or veto.
