32-year-old Aric L. Chapman is facing a charge of Internet Stalking of a Child, a class B felony.

According to the Faulkner County Sheriff's Department, the arrest came after a 2 day investigation in which Chapman coordinated to meet with a female he met in an on line chat room for the purpose of having sex with the mother and with the 10 year old daughter.

Investigators say Chapman communicated with, what he thought was the mother of this child, but in fact was an Investigator with the Sheriff's Office.

Chapman was arrested in the parking lot of Laurel Park in Conway after meeting with the investigator and inquiring as to where the "10 year old daughter" was.

Investigators took Chapman into custody without incident.

He will be held for first appearance on Monday.

This is the second internet Stalking case this year, for the Sheriff's Office.
