Governor Mike Beebe names a new commissioner to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Ty Patterson of Texarkana will serve the last 16 months of Rick Watkin's term who recently resigned. Patterson is the second commissioner from Texarkana to serve in the position

The 35-year-old is currently a partner in the Orr-Patterson Automotive Group, and Governor Beebe says he has plenty of outdoor experience growing up in southern Arkansas.
