Updated: February 16, 2013
One man is dead following a Friday evening stabbing in the Saline County town of Mabelvale.

Deputies say it happened around 7 p.m. in the 7400 block of Brimer.

Authorities arrived to find Chris Yarberry, 33, of East End suffering from a stab wound.  He was flown to a local hospital and later died from his injuries.

Deputies arrested George Davidson of Little Rock for the crime.  He's being held without bond on 1st Degree Murder charges.

I normally read KARK for my daily news updates. I'm seriously beginning to question this. Normally, all major stories are covered and the weather reports are great but I've noticed awful mistakes as of late. The lady who drowned in the pound during the winter storm was NOT on KARK, yet other stations had ran the news for several hours (if not a full day). Stories have had gross typos, grammar issues, and just made no sense at all. Mabelvale is NOT a Saline County town. Mabelvale is partial in Pulaski and Saline. The Pulaski County side of Mabelvale is part of the city of Little Rock. Furthermore, there are two Brimers in Mabelvale - Brimer Rd and Brimer Ln. Based on the story and the fact Mabelvale is only noted as being a Saline County town, I'm assuming it is Brimer Lane. I'm just really disappointed with the online quality of KARK and I think I will use it as a fallback from now on. It's really unfortunate. I hope others question the stories they read and seek out other news sources during this time.
