Elementary students at Lisa Academy are working on exhibits to present to judges later this month, to see who will go on to Regionals.

They could possibly go to Nationals at the University of Maryland.

"They've worked extremely hard, there is a lot of research that goes in to this, they choose their own topics based on their interest and they do really, really well, said 5th grade teacher Ms. Hula."

Some of the topics include Title 9 and the Gold Rush.

Ten students will be chosen to go on to the Regional Competition at U-A-L-R in March.
