A traffic accident in Little Rock has taken a man's life.

According to Little Rock Police, an elderly male in a northbound brown 1984 Toyota Corolla was trying to turn left from Alexander onto Stagecoach when he was hit by a Ford Explorer traveling south on Alexander.

Police say there are no charges at this time for 64-year-old Donna Mathis, who was driving the Explorer.

The name of the man killed in this accident will not be released until his next of kin has been notified.

This is such a dangerous intersection. I personally feel they should have a light or at least a 3-way stop. Of course, that would really back traffic up.
