LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Arkansas State Senate voted 20-14 Tuesday to override Governor Beebe's veto of the 12-week abortion bill.

The House has yet to vote on the override, which will need a majority to pass the bill.

Beebe vetoed the "fetal heartbeat bill" Monday, citing constitutional concerns and cost to the state to litigate challenges to the law in court.

The governor vetoed a similar bill that would ban abortions past 20 weeks using the same rationale. Both the Senate and House voted to override that veto.

I am floored! Who gives them the right to legislate someone else's choice away?
