Three Children Hurt in SUV Crash near Hot Springs

NEAR HOT SPRINGS, AR - Three children are recovering from injuries suffered when a sports utility vehicle (SUV) rolled off Albert Pike Road into a wooded area just outside Hot Springs.

It happened about 6:30 Sunday night in the 3500 block.

Officials say the driver lost control and crashed into the branches of some trees about 30 feet from the road.

There were also two adults in the vehicle. The children's injuries were not believed to be life threatening.

The Arkansas State Police and the Piney Fire Department worked the accident.
