Lightning Sparks Fire at Arkadelphia Church

ARKADELPHIA, AR - A lightning strike to an Arkadelphia church set it on fire Thursday morning. Witnesses report flames shooting 15 feet up into the air.

Arkadelphia Fire says the damage to the First Presbyterian Church on 13th and Pine was contained to its steeple and there was no fire damage inside of the church.

The fire department did say that the steeple was made with brass.
