House Outlines Drugs to be Used in Lethal Injections

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Arkansas House of Representatives sent a bill to Governor Beebe outlining the lethal cocktail of drugs to be used in executions on Tuesday.

The Supreme Court last year told the legislature it gave too much leeway to the Department of Corrections on how to administer capital punishment.

There are 37 inmates currently on death row, although Arkansas has not executed an inmate since 2005.
