She's been fielding calls all Monday about country music's Mindy McCready's untimely death.
"Just about how sad it is," said Trafford. "You know she has a lot of fans. "
Trafford said sadly the people who call to request McCready's songs, like 1996's "Guys Do It All The Time" that reached number one on the country music charts, can't hear them.
The station no longer carries them in their catalog.
An indication that the singer was notorious for more than her music.
"We haven't heard her in the news for anything except for drama in her personal life," said Trafford.
Addiction and depression were large parts of the singer's personal struggles as well as a publicized custody battle last year.
"You really feel like to a degree it was none of our business," said Trafford. "But she was on celebrity rehab and was putting it out there... She had everything going for her she was talented, beautiful."
Fans calling the station Monday morning simply want to express their condolences for the troubled singer and offer their prayers to her two young sons.
"It's a two edged sword it's not all glitz glamour," said Trafford who said it's just another example of how celebrity and fame can often be too hard to bare.
