The 25-year-old Crossett High School product went down in the final to Terrence Ross of the Toronto Raptors.
Evans advanced to the final with a 360 where he dunked two balls, one in each hand.
He wowed the crowd with his first dunk in the finals when he jumped over a large painting of himself dunking over a painting of himself.
For his final dunk, he jumped over a seated Dahntay Jones, who tossed the ball up as Evans gracefully floated through the air, caught it and threw it down with authority.
Terrence Ross claimed the crown however, when he jumped over a ballboy, put the ball between his legs and slammed it home.
Evans claimed 42 percent of the global fan vote, while Ross had 58 percent.
