Police in Hope have released security camera photos of a man they believe may have had a gun when he tried to get into Hope High School.

Students told police the man in the above photo tried to convince them to let him in Tuesday morning after he discovered the doors were locked.

He then told students he was going to the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope.

Both campuses went on lockdown for a while.
