ADHT Demand Pulaski County Quorum Court Take a Vote on Broadway Bridge

The Pulaski County Quorum Court in an emergency meeting Thursday, after the Arkansas Department of Highway and Transportation demands a decision on the rebuilding of the Broadway Bridge.

The ADHT says a decision needs to be made quickly or they can stand to lose millions in federal funding.

It will cost up to 25 million to rehab the bridge that connects Little Rock to North Little Rock.

While the bridge is not a safety risk, it is 90 years old and needs to be replaced, says ADHT.

If a new bridge is built you can expect 5 lanes and a pedestrian walk way.
