Update: Cabot Police Release Name of Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident

Update (January 28):
Cabot Police have released the name of the woman killed in a pedestrian accident Saturday night.

Jaime Hicks, 37, of Lonoke, died after being hit by a car along Kerr Station Road.

Cabot Police say the driver of the car that hit her was a 16-year-old Cabot boy.

The accident is still under investigation and police are not yet releasing any other details.

A woman is dead after being struck by a car in Cabot late last night.

The name of the woman has not been released, pending notification of relatives.

It happened around 10:15 .

Authorities say the driver of the vehicle was headed south on Kerr Station, near Candlewood Circle.

The victim was taken to a Jacksonville hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The driver was not injured.

The investigation is continuing.
