Crews continuing to do maintenance to the Interstate 55 bridge over the Mississippi River continue to require a lane closure next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

The work will require the southbound lane to be closed Monday, Jan. 28 through Friday, Feb. 1.

The lane closures will be in effect between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
