You may know him as Reverend Benny Johnson with the Stop the Violence movement.
Johnson started the organization in 1991 after a Central High School football player was killed.
Since then, he's advocated for victims' families and even raised nearly a thousand bikes for kids for the holidays.
"The joy of knowing you can help someone, a family in grief, it's a bittersweet moment but, I'll be still be helping the guys," Johnson says.
Johnson says arthritis is forcing him to pass the torch to Elder Walter Crockran.
