Benton Woman Catches Man Breaking into Her Home

According to Benton Police, officers responded to the call in the 4000 block of Donna Drive just before 9:00 Wednesday morning.
Officers found 35-year-old David Miller still inside the home, and were able to take him into custody without incident.
Miller was also found with prescription medicine that belonged to the homeowner, who was not injured during the crime.
Miller was taken to the Saline County Detention Facility and charged with residential burglary, two counts of theft of property, criminal attempt to commit residential burglary, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespassing, theft by receiving and unauthorized use of another person's property to facilitate a crime.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges could be forthcoming.
