The Arkansas House is sharing some interesting information about its membership as the 89th General Assembly gets down to business at the State Capitol today.

- Youngest member is 27 and the oldest is 75.
- Sworn-in today: 13 women and 87 men
- Membership: 26 members are serving their 3rd term, 35 are serving their second and 39 serving their first term
- Member professions: 15 are attorneys, 2 are pastors, 17 are retired. Other professions include; insurance agents, contractors, a dentist, and a funeral home director
- Educators: 13 members are teachers or retired teachers
- Farmers: 16 are farmers or have farmed in the past.
- Veterans: 13 House members are veterans.
