The Arkansas State University football team has arrived in Mobile, Alabama to get ready to play in this weekend's GoDaddy.com Bowl against the No. 25 Kent State Golden Flashes.

ESPN is televising the game on Sunday night. Kickoff is 8:00.

The Red Wolves boarded a bus that left Jonesboro Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m., driving down Stadium Blvd. to the farewell of fans who lined the street and drivers that honked their horns.

The team went on to Memphis to board a charter flight to Mobile. The flight to Mobile was about 55 minutes long and the team landed around 11:30 Tuesday night. Once the team landed, the Red Wolves boarded charter buses and arrived at their team hotel, the Renaissance Riverview Plaza, around midnight.

A-State announced on Tuesday that the team will wear their black jerseys in the bowl game.

A-State has a full day of activities today, starting with team meetings before practice at UMS-Wright High School in Mobile, at 2:55 p.m.

Once practice is over, there will be a news conference at 6:30 p.m. before the Great Southern Wood Team Welcome Reception at 7:00 p.m.

Winners in eight of its last nine games, including the last seven in a row, the Red Wolves claimed their second consecutive Sun Belt Conference title with a 45-0 victory Middle Tennessee in their regular-season finale.

The Red Wolves are receiving votes in both major polls and are listed at No. 37 in the latest BCS rankings. A-State is receiving 20 votes in the latest USA Today Coaches Top 25 poll for its most in school history since joining the NCAA FBS in 1992. Kent State will bring an 11-2 record and No. 25 ranking the APTop 25 Poll into the GoDaddy.com Bowl.  The Golden Flashes are also No. 25 in the BCS rankings.

Fans are strongly encouraged to buy GoDaddy.com Bowl tickets only through the ASU Ticket Office to directly support the Red Wolves and to ensure they receive priority seating within the designated A-State area.

Bowl tickets are only $45 per ticket when purchased through the ASU Ticket Office. Fans can go to AStateRedWolves.com to order tickets, and the ASU Ticket Office, located at the Convocation Center's lower red entrance, is taking walk-up and telephone (870-972-ASU1 or 888-278-3267) orders.
