A Fayetteville woman was killed in a four-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 40 in Prairie County.

According to a State Police crash report, 33-year-old Kristin G. Jackson was killed when the Ford Escort she was riding in was pinned between two tractor trailers.

The crash report says all four vehicles involved were westbound when the Ford Escort, driven by Justin Jackson, stopped behind one tractor trailer that had stopped for construction.

A second semi driven by Micharl Serrat of Ft. Smith was unable to stop and rear-ended the Escort, forcing it into the trailer of the semi in front.

A third semi driven by Valerie Powers of Jonesboro, GA was also unable to stop and rear-ended the truck driven by Serrat.

Justin Jackson, also from Fayetteville, was injured and taken to UAMS in Little Rock.

According to the report, everyone involved wore a seat belt.

There were no other injuries.
