SAU Horse Thief Makes First Court Appearance

The latest suspect in the case of five stolen horses appeared before a judge this morning in Columbia County.

38-year-old Wendi Cox made her first court appearance for her alleged role in stealing the five Southern Arkansas University rodeo horses.

If convicted, Cox could face more than 20 years in prison.

She is the fourth suspect arrested in this case along with her daughter 19-year-old Jaci Jackson, and two men.

Cox is being held on a $50,000 bond.
